Did you know that Ayia Napa’s medieval monastery dates back to around 1500? Partly built into the rock, this historic landmark stands at the heart of the town. A remarkable ancient sycamore tree near its southern entrance is believed to be more than 600 years old.
Just beyond the busy town lies Cape Greco National Forest Park, known for its rugged coastline, sea caves, walking trails and breathtaking Mediterranean views. It is a wonderful place to experience the quieter, wilder side of Cyprus.
